Job Purpose
A Talent Acquisition Specialist performs full-cycle recruitment, proactively sourcing candidates for open positions; follows established best practices in the identification, evaluation, selection, and onboarding of external candidates, and the review of current Teammates pursuing internally posted positions.

Responsibilities
- Recruiting Team: collaborates with the team to meet staffing goals, conducting recruiting activities under a sense of urgency; performs active and passive candidate sourcing using Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other social media sites to identify and pursue qualified candidates.
- Candidate Evaluation: quantifies prior work experience and reviews pre-employment assessments considering the KSAs and personality traits needed for best fit to the: 1) PVC culture, 2) specified position, and 3) hiring authority expectations.
- Recruitment & Talent Pipeline: builds talent pipelines; fosters cooperative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Candidate Assessment: conducts interviews, behavioral assessments, and background checks to evaluate candidates for consideration.
- Offer Management: prepares and extends job offers including making compensation recommendations; participates in the onboarding process.
- HRIS & ATS Resources: serves as an expert in each stage of the ATS platform; coaches hiring authorities in the effective use of the application.
- Reporting: compiles and maintains staffing metrics and provides scheduled reports for Human Resource leadership.

Requirements
- Experience and Education: no more than three to five years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration (preferred); OR five to seven years of related experience without a degree.
- Recruiting Expertise: exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to identify, attract, and secure quality candidates at all levels.
- Technical Proficiency: skilled using multi-module HRIS and ATS platforms and various social media sites with experience conducting proactive online candidate sourcing.
- Preferred Certification: SHRM-CP (Certified Professional)
